When it rain it pours!

I know your pains. In December before Christmas, I had a slow leak coming from the water pump so I had my mechanic change it, (getting lazy the older I get). While he had the pump off he checked the timing chain and found it to have a lot of slop and the gears worn, so new part there. All new hoses, including the lower hose with the oil cooler adapter. Thought we were good, well got it home and it started leaking from the adaptor, so took it back, got it fixed. Good to go once again. Middle of last month going to wally world, a dumb @$$ pulls out in front of me and I hit the brakes, well it slowed down enough to miss him, but the peddle went to the floor. I parked it at WW and got out to find brake fluid running down frame and rear axle. OK I thought, I can find the problem and fix it after I get home so I go in to do my shopping. Half way through they page the owner of white F250 so I figured someone saw all the break fluid and wanted me to know so I go out to check on the truck. Well the brake fluid is still dripping, but now there is a huge puddle of antifreeze running across the parking lot. Had to call a flat bed and have it hauled back to the shop. The rear cover seal let go, but he covered the water pump and labor, and put a new brake line on the frame front to back. Knock on wood, I don't have any antifreeze leaks and I have brakes, and my boss walks in today and hands me $80, seems I won the Super Bowl pool and didn't even know it, so life is good this week.
