water pump blew xmas eve
replaced after xmas, decided to do therm also, housing broke( bad karma???) replaced and drove it about 25 miles no leaks didnt overheat everything was great( yippeee)
awoke newyears eve to a truck that wouldnt start and ran like crap.
like it had a tennis ball in the exhaust pipe
no power but still didnt overheat
had injectors cleaned through vacum line... smoke changed color didnt help
tested cat and baffle 2.5 lbs back pressure.. removed and still no luck
tested compression none on #3
was 2 rockers off rods... checked rods no blockage still straight... cleaned, replaced re-torqued all lifters...ran like a monster for 1 day
have a "friend" working on this because he has a garage
he removed an electrical component and had it tested..tested ok...
he replaced lifters and rods... now engine turns over but wont start
NO SPARK
did he fry my computer??
he checked all ignition components and wires...still no spark
any help I need this truck...im laid off and use this for side work... i havent been able to get day jobs since xmas.. had a chevy blazer transmission die>.was repaired 12/2008 had 6 mo warranty.. only had to pay 600 for parts.... not been a good year so far
