I'm 50/50 at this point as I won't know my schedule until pretty much that day, therefore I won't put my name on the list yet.

I am sorry I won't be able to be there due to a commitment to go to the Auto Club 500 Race that day. I hope you all have a good time with great weather. I hope to see and meet you at the next one...Robert

Dang this is a tough one to call. Theres a money maker track day at Willow Springs that whole weekend, and i usually follow the organization. Farmer Boys is literally a couple of blocks away from me. It would be nice to see all of you again. Ill have to do some thinking.

I also think i owe Bill some $ for surplus ammo.

Little trick on that...

post what you want and add a bunch of letter/characters after it. Hit "submit reply" and then go back and edit out what you didn't want posted (the extra characters you added)

I'd forgotten all about it, so don't worry about it.

What would the Walking Atlas rather do?

Sit and eat to your heart's content at a local restaurant a few blocks away with lots a friends?

Or...wood you rather whiz on out to Rosamond, battling traffic both ways, not to mention the dust and noise, and then...

Find yourself standing in line for hours...to buy what passes for food at concession stands?!

How far it is to Rosamond round trip from Norwalk? Over 200 miles. That's about four hours worth of driving time.

Of course, that four hours...is not counting all the stops you're gonna make at fast food restaurants along the way.

don't know if i can make it with the van - poverty has kept it from moving forward. it does run, but front flares and some basic wiring must be completed for it to move. but i will do my best to attend.

You are not required to drive a Ford truck to attend a G2G. You are not even required to drive at all. You can take a bus, taxi, trains, planes or automobiles. You can hitchhike, car jack, truck jack (if you're gonna jack, trucks are preferred), or you can ask to bum a ride. You can even take shanks mare as a last resort.

I can't think of a single excuse that works.
