Well More issues in IL

So after a 13 hour ride yesterday me and my brother arived in IL to asess the damage to my front hub. Pretty much the whole left side has to be completly replaced-
New rotor/hub ***.
Inner and outer bearings.
Spindle (couldnt find one)
Outer axle shaft

So needless to say we get everyting tore completly apart and decided the spindle is completly shot and couldnt reuse it AT ALL. So needless to say my truck is still chilling in IL since I couldnt get a dang spindle. Broncograveyard.com has em for my axle tho (D44 High Pinion SAS) so I guess Im going to order all teh parts to the shop I unfortionatly had to send my truck too. But it couldnt sit in the TA truck stop parking lot much longer. I got my trailer with all mine and the wifes stuff atleast (brother has an 05 Fx4) so we are now in nashville for the evening. Well sorry for the rant/vent but it was much needed!

Why not start a new thread asking for anyone in that area to assist, if possible? We do that on a Mercedes site I frequent. I had one guy drive 4 hours to rescue me in Nebraska summer before last when I drove the 380SL from OH to CA and back.

Luckily, on my trip from UT to KY this last summer, I drove the 560SL instead (newer technology and in near showroom shape). I forged such a great kinship with those online buds of mine that I had to stop every 4 hours for mini get-togethers at different diners...didn't spend one red cent on food on that trip! LOL

Well Im already back down in GA the trucks at a shop up there Im going to have some parts ordered to go to the shop and they can deal with it. Im sick of fighting to keep that truck on the road so I just need to get it to GA so I can start its restoration process and Ill pick up another truck here soon so Im not to worried about it right this second.
