Outside Temp. Gauge

Can someone with an 08 or higher please tell me where the outside temp. gauge is located?? It used to be in the overhead console on earlier models but parts guy ed has no listing of it located in the overhead console for my truck. If its not to much trouble I was considering adding one since I think all the wires are in place anyways. Thank you in advance.

If you don't have Lariat or above trim, you don't have it as I understand it. My XLT doesn't have it. It's included in the Lariat and above with the LCD ??? DIC in between the tach and speedo. It's the only thing I miss about my last truck. You could either get a scan gauge that displays intake air temp or maybe a small battery operated wireless outdoor temp gimmick like what we have for the house. I wouldn't mount it but it could be shelved in the door for quick reference. The sending unit could be mounted anywhere out front out of sight like the factory unit. Just a thought.

I asked the fleet salesman when I bought my truck and he said no. I had to buy a Lariat to get the temp display. Can't add it? Nope... Cuss...

Here's another viable option. I think...

Ford Super Duty Mirrors, Electrochromic Compass
