Turbo Recondition

Thinking about doing this:

Diesel Technician Society

Do I have to worry about a relearn for the turbo?

Thanks!

I did mine about 3 months ago and I followed Diesel Technician Society and had no problem. Did not have to do a relearn. Just follow the steps as going up 2 states!! The hardest part is getting the turbo out. There are some good threads you can look up as per removing the turbo. Good Luck!!

You may also want to have the turbo refinishing kit on hand. Comes with all new o-rings and gasket for the oil feed & drain tubes; New mounting bolts; 3m resurfacing kit; and some other parts to do the job. Here is the part number. Ford Turbo Kit 4C4Z-9V424-AA
I purchased mine from. Cost about 60.00
