Thanks

I don't seem to have that problem, is it the factory arm, and all that holds the blade, or is the blade and blade frame after market on a factory arm? Hope that makes some sense!
I remember firing up my 71 Chevelle beside my dad's house after I just put new headers on. I wanted to hear the engine with open exhaust, and as I was cranking it up a few times, the neighbor's window fell out onto the ground. My dad and I laughed about that for years!

I have the factory arm, but the aftermarket blade doesn't touch the glass unless I move the arm half way up the window
I'll check out the tricos

I have the beam blades on my expedition and I love them they seem to work better of course I'm replacing blades for a reason so I haven't compared new to new

Where did you find 15" beam blades? Everywhere I've looked only go down to 18"

I don't know who would carry ArmourAll's new wiper blades in the US; available at Canadian Tire up here in God's country ; but I have them on my Excursion and am very pleased with how they hold to a compound curve. They are available in 15 inch but do cost about $22 to $25 CDN up here; worth it though IMO. FYI I've got 16 inch blades on my 73 and 76, was 15 inch factory ??

Those Beam blades are awesome!
Although the ones on my truck just wore out, so I threw my old Tricos back on.
If the blades are getting the whole windshield the arm might be bent or the spring might be fatigued. Either way, time for some new wiper arms, which do not cost a whole lot. Some U-Haul stores have them still in stock for pretty cheap too.
