Throttle body spacers. worth the money?
Howdy all,
My lady gave me a gift certificate this holiday season and I was going to use it to get a throttle body spacer. Sounded like a good idea. I'm a bit skeptical about just bolting a chunk of aluminum onto my TB to magically gain performance but wtf do I know. Just wondering if anybody has opinions or hard evidence for or against these things. Also, if I decide to get one, should I get the "vortex" one that spins the air as it passes through the spacer?
Thanks,
Josh

Your instincts serve you well, they do absolutely nothing on these motors. Do a search on here and you should find some posts with lots of details why this is so. There are lots of thing you could get that will actually perform a usefull function including a trans temp gauge or electric fan conversion or something like that.
