seat question for 2010 owners
I've had Ford F150's and before that Bronco's for a long time. Love them! Traded my F150 2002 for a F150 Platinum series this past November. I'm female and love that the tailgate is light weight enough that I don't kill myself trying to close it. I can raise and lower the back seat with one hand AND don't have to remove the head rests to do it. The side steps were made for me, no more climbing over the tailgate to get equipment or bags that slid to the back of the bed. Can't say enough about the truck's computer system. I love everything about the truck with one exception. Why are they selling a $50,000. truck with that uncomfortable head rest?!! To me the drivers seat is important so why would you design a seat where the head rest tilts so far forward that you can't get your shoulders back against the seat. I either have to put the seat back at a mean angle or take the head rest off and turn it around. Neither way is safe. I'm 5'4" but it's not just me. I had a friend that's a 6 footer try it and he couldn't get comfortable either.
Oh, and it's Billie but the registration wouldn't let me use my name. Billie
What's up with this forum making some of my words links to ads? Like the word trucks above. Is there a way to stop it or is it because I signed up for free.

We try to use the chapters for a little bit of everything. A lot more of the knowledge and technical talk goes on in the more specific forums. We all try to help each other whether its directing someone to another forum or discuss the general stuff, gatherings, happenings, etc... I hope this answered your questions.
