Man I loves me my chubby 4X4

We're getting rain today and lots of it! Our fifth wheel has been at the dealer getting some repairs done, due to a windstorm back in May, and my wife went to get it this morning. She called as she was getting back into town and wanted to trade me trucks at work so I could back the 5'er in when I got home and she could run a few more errands in her car. When she got here I decided I better take it home and get it put away before the ground got any more saturated, so away I went. I live in the country and have a 500-yard drive with a few twists. I usually pull up the drive and off into the yard to back it into its spot. Back when we camped almost every weekend I could back that thing up the drive from the road with no problem, but we haven't been able to get out much this year and I definitely wanted to drive up and then back in. As soon as the 5'er hit the grass the tires started spinning, I dropped into 4 lo and dug trenches as I went but got it pulled far enough forward and then slid it into reverse with a slight pucker to my backside. With the weight of the diesel over the front wheels they dug in and the 6.0L torqued up and got me back on solid ground. I have some deep ruts to fill in later, but that's nothing like the work of pulling truck and trailer out.
