what truck came with a 137" wheelbase? A 4 door bronco would have 137.5 W.B.

A friend wants to know what frame to get for his crew cab bronco project i started him on. would it be a singlecab longbed?

I think maybe a regular crew cab short bed 73-79 F-350 might work.

IIRC none did. A crew shortbed is 150" . A reg cab longbed is 133". Check Old Ford Crew Cab Community, Pre 1980 Ford Crew Cab owners community and information source.

All the 4 door broncos ive seen have been on lengthened bronco frames.

A Super Camper special would be close, should be around 139" give or take an inch or so.

Since people don't seem to like to click the link...

Standard cab short bed = 117
Standard cab long bed = 133
Supercab short bed = 139
Supercab longbed = 155
Super camper special = 140
Crew cab short bed = 150
Crew cab long bed = 166.5 / 167

F350 137" is for cab/chassis only. No styleside. With 9' stake/platform.
F350 161" is for cab/chassis with 12' stake/platform.

Use a supercab frame - the 2" should be easy enough to "loose"
