2011 F350 DRW Fuel Capacity

Does anyone know the fuel capacity for the new 2011 Super Duty trucks? I have an F350, Supercab, Dual Rear Wheel, 8' bed with the 6.7L Powerstroke. The owner's manual lists 3 fuel tanks - Mid ship (28 gallons), Plastic (35 gallons) and Aft Axle (40 gallons). The Ford Super Duty website lists a 35 gallon tank for the gas engine and either a 26 gallon tank for 137", 142" or 156" wheelbase Supercabs with the diesel, or a 37.5 gallon tank with a 158" or 172" wheelbase Crewcab. What's even more confusing is that my window sticker says I have a 158" wheelbase with my Supercab, which according to the Ford website is a wheelbase only on the Crewcab.

I'm pretty sure that due to your 8ft bed you have the largest tank

Fuel tank — 26-gallon capacity (F-250/F-350 137," 142" and 156" WB
with diesel engine)
Fuel tank — 35-gallon capacity (gas engine only)
Fuel tank — 37.5-gallon capacity (F-250/F-350 158" and 172" WB with
diesel engine, and F-450)

Thanks for the replies. Based on Ford's numbers for the Supercab/diesel combo I'm guessing it's the 26 gallon tank. But I guess I'll know for sure when I fill it if I let it run down enough - it should be pretty obvious with an 11.5 gallon difference.

I'm surprised Ford didn't up the ante this year with fuel tanks, GM is putting 35/6 in the short beds this year.

My 06 GMC had a 26 gallon and it just stunk. The single best thing I did to that truck was put a 52 gallon in frame Titan in it.

Is there a simple reason why the dual tanks available in the chassis cab are not available in the pickups?

Titan does not list it yet for the 2011.

But - if any of you plan on a Titan, the only gripe I had with the tank was that the vents are 1/2" and the factory tank is 5/8".

Doesn't seem like much but that is a 20% difference and it makes a difference when filling up.

If I know I am going to take 35 gallons (according to the DIC) I will stop the pump at 25 and set it for slow mode.

I was just on Titan's website and they do list 2011 tanks.
I copied in the 2010 tanks.

Transfer flow makes replacement tanks and in-bed tanks that might be viable options...

I am a professional Crop Consultant, Just got my truck F250 2011 diesel, like it, its quite and loaded with power, awfully big though compared to my Dodge, fuel mileage not as good and the fuel tank is horribly small. I had a 1/4 tank left this am and I had to go to Memphis, filled it up. Held 20 gallons. Are you kidding me, a 25 gal tank, who in the heck ok'd this with Ford or people like me, Dangit!, is someone from Tokoyo running Ford or what...Does anyone have any common sense. Do they understand that working people buy the majority of these trucks. This is a major problem for me, I don't have time to find a gas station that has diesel in BFE....I am not any where close most of the time to a gas station that carries diesel....I work in desolate areas esp behind the Miss. River Levee, where mud is terrible. I have to have diesel trucks just to turn the wheels over at times, plus the truck has to be able to take all these horrible turnrows and gravel roads just to last one summer (about 60,000 miles per summer), its horrible....so I have 2 options best I can figure...1) get a bigger tank...I'm off road so I'll have to add on the protective shield from Titan....another 1500 or so total, after i have already spent 2500, (4 mudgrips 1k; fender flares 600; leveling kit 600 so bigger tires will fit); Tires are 305 17" Maxis Mudder, not that much bigger, plus had to readjust air psi settings, who in the heck runs 70lbs anyway...40 psi as low as it will go just a note for the rest of you, thats fine, but as soon as it get hot my low air psi is gonna stay on since these gravel roads continually are poking tiny holes in these tires, lot of nails here.....already took a pocket knife to the flimsy wheel well cover on inside right front; mud is going to eat these wheel well guards up....looks like hood insulation, not much thicker than roofing tar paper, reminds me of something I'd get on a toyota,,,come on ford you can do better!...so now i need to add on the 12-1500 for the gas tank. Ok I can do that I guess, I dont think I have a choice....No. 2 option would be to cut off tail pipe and emissions crap....and start with an aftermarket tail pipe that will get better mileage maybe stretching my 25 gal tank where it will last a 12-16 hour day....I carry a dirtbike too, so I think a bed tank is out. I realize a new tail pipe would void some warranty but for the same price, 1500 or so.....whats the better choice. Any ideas or thoughts out there. I'd like to make the best decision here.

You diesel guys have choices. I have the 38 gallon tank (gas) I want to get bigger at least 50. But none of these companys make a bigger tank for gasser's. When i called them, (titan, flow) (They said "i dont know). Great

Transfer flow was listing some tanks for gasoline, not sure of the specifics.
