T-98 trans and 1964 390 FE
Thought I'd throw this out there and see if there is any interest!
I have a rebuilt T-98 and a 390 FE that I'm not planning to use. They were together in my '55 F100 when I got it. The trans was rebuilt just before it was parked. I know the previous owner so I am confident of the history. The clutch disc still has the markings on the surface, so it wasn't run long! Any interest?

The 390 is a 1964 or there abouts. It ran when it was parked, but the radiator leaked for the third time and my buddy said the shop wouldn't fix it again. He took the opportunity to get a VW bug and parked the truck. That was in 1982. The trans had JUST been rebuilt. The engine ran fine. All that time sitting caused the freeze plugs to rust out. They will need to be replaced. A mouse took up residence under the intake manifold so the lifters need to be replaced. I have no doubt that if you replaced the lifters, ($60.00) and the freeze plugs ($?) the thing would fire up and run. I originally planned on doing just that, cuz that 390 is COOL, but decided on putting a 223 w/3 speed OD in the truck. Don't need the 390 or the T98. I'll try to post some pictures when I can.
