Hey-

I noticed that the 6.4 trucks have a finned rear diff cover- And I have only the plain-jane stamped steel - ahem, the RUSTING stamped steel diff cover...

Any reason why I can not bolt a 2009 F-350 cover on my 2007 F 350 rear axle?

Any one venture a guess on part price?

You can and I just did.
There's a nice write up on changing your rear diff oil in the tech session.
I got mine theough PartsGuyEd a site sponsor for a little less than $50. I had to go to a local fastner store and get new SS bolts as the ones on your truck will be too short because the aluminum is thicker The cost was less than $5.00
