First big milestone

I've been hangin out on the forum for the last 15 months or so. I don't post much but I constantly pour over the sage advice and expertise. Thought I would share the first big milestone for my '50 F2: the painted, rolling frame.

Next step, I've got a 302/C4 waiting to be fitted.

Lookin’ good. Sometimes it is almost a shame to cover up a nice frame isn’t?

2 reasons. I went to a 9 inch rear end and I wanted disc brakes on the front.

Your frame does look good.

Are you staying with the F2 fenders and bed?

nice and your reasoning for swapping the 8 lugs out is what got me in trouble with my f350 . it went from a 1 ton car hauler to a 1 ton long bed to a half ton based on a 74 1/2 ton frame to destroyed by an overzealous other half . i wish now i'da left it alone and continued down the 1 ton path ...................... had i been as studious and willing to dig in parts books and cross references etc . then ..........................
