got a nagging issue with the truck, started a few weeks ago seems to be worse the colder it gets, when i make any left or right turns on a slight or steep angle i hear a creaking/flexing sound comming from between the left rear drivers cab and the front left part of the truk bed what would cause this sound bad bed/frame mounts or something else, i want to call the dealer tomorrow and tell them about this but dont know where to tell them to start looking at what and where. please help thanks.

 

sounds like your body mounts or some bushings are just settling or gently sliding around.

 

my cab body mount under my drivers seat has been doing the same thing for about a year now, but mine is 10 years old. i got under there one day, "it took me a while to find the noise" and found the body mount is starting to rust thru.

 

thats what mine does all the time. after i get back to work i'm putting all new cab and bed urethane mounts and going to do it with a 1"body lift.
