Finally found the pesky fuel leak

Well, finally back home and got to investigate the fuel leak that has been eluding me for a while. Turns out the vacuum switch" or "restricted fuel filter sensor, decided to fail, but only when the truck was cold . And not knowing a friggin thing I went to ford and asked, what is this, its leaking, and i need one. $54.00 later i have no leaking fuel. . now for the story. i get back from ford and check this site (now that i know what its called) and i find that dude man named Reptar 360 posted helpful info way back in 2005 which gives the International part number and cost of $14.00. needless to say the wife is not happy i didnt look here first. well live and learn i guess. on a better note, the 6637 kit has been ordered from riff raff, and the lift is in the (but it will make the truck look awesome) stage with the other half. hopefully to be installed by next week. i think the wife mentioned something about me having to write "check with the forum guys first" a few hundred times so i remember before doing any more mods or repairs.

you could have also put a pipe plug in there a called it a day. price of less than a dollar. Just changed your filter regularly.

Pesky fuel leak

Exactly what was that part number?
I just spent 8 hours fixing a 2 inch hose that wasn't cracked after all.
At least I didn't have any spare parts at the end.
