Anone have a f250 or f350 with bad motor? I'll take it

I am looking for an f250 or f350 to do my cummins swap. I have a 12V cummins tuned up that I want to put in a ford. I would like it to be an ext cab or CC. If the engine is high mileage or even blown up even better haha. The cheaper the better. Let me know what you have and post or email pics. Email is timornick@gmail.com

Maybe you should go look for a Dodge to put that in.
Keep all the junk in one place that way.......................

Lol I knew that was going to happen. I am a cummins fan but not a dodge. I love the ford body style so I figured I would put the 2 together.

Really? You know our 7.3 engines are incredibly underpowered compared to a 12v cummins?

Comments like this one make us 7.3 guys look like tools.....

I have searched for some conversion forums but have not found anything worth much. There seems like a lot of people on this board so I figured I would give it a shot but so far I am not welcomed haha. I am a ford guy so dont worry. You can get more dependable power for cheaper with a 12V than you can the PSD.

You are more than welcome buddy.. it's just you are breaking the rule. You will find out fast that Jim (Megawatt) is a absolutely great guy!!

I'll keep my eyes open for ya. I'm looking for the same thing.. I don't wanna wait another 250k miles to pull my engine and swap in a 12v.. mmmmm.. cheap power!

Well the name is Nick and I am 26 years old from cincinnati. College graduate with a mechanical engineering degree. The motor came from a 1995 Dodge work truck. I took the motor and trans out (dont plan on using the trans). I sold the utility bed off of it and used that money to put studs and fire ring it. I am trying to figure out what sticks I want for it and what to do for the turbo. I have a 0# fuel plate in it so she has the fuel. My goals are to make a dependable semi daily driver (2 motorcycles that will get the other days). I want to it to be a great towing rig as well. I am not interested in drag racing or rolling coal even though that is a by-product. I am more interested in pulling and useable power.

I am looking for atleast an ex cab if not a CC. bed length is not a huge deal for me and I would like a 4x4.

If anyone has any advice on a swap like this I am still in research mode and seems like this is a great place to learn some things.
