FL Chat & Get To KNOW You!
Hey FL peeps, use this thread to exchange thoughts, brag on your truck(s), anything off topic is allowed.
If you haven't already done so, click the JOIN Chapter linky at the top of the thread page and become a member of the FL Chapter, IT'S FREEEEEEE!
I'm George from Delaware and currently one of two Regional Chapter Moderators for FTE. Rich, FTE Trigger is the other Regional Chapter Moderator. We are here to help chapters with chapter matters like getting a NEW chapter leader for those chapters that are without one.
I was the first chapter leader for Delaware when it became a FTE chapter.
Yes, I'm old.
I current own a 2005 F250SD, 6.0, a 2005 Ranger, 4.0, and a MKX, 4.0.
I'm self employed, and a full time poster of FTE.
Be sure to add your first name to your signature, it is easier for fellow FTE'rs to get to know and remember you. BTW you need 25 posts to create a signature.
So let's get this chapter on the road to being one of the best chapters in FTE land.

Hello all from Bradenton Florida, Love my ford trucks. First truck I had was a 1984 f150 with a 6" lift and a 3" body lift with 38's on it and a 302 cu punch out 60 over with about $2000.00 into the motor. Also had a 2000 f150, also a 2006 f350 and now my 2006 f250. And if i can talk the wife into it I would like the new 2011 f350 or wait for 2012.
I believe the new PSD may even be more reliable then these 6.0.
I use my truck to transport horses around the country and here on my horse boarding facility and it does a GREAT job.
Cant wait to get our first meet planned and get to meet everyone.

Good morning Casey and the rest of the FL Chapter. That sounds like some nice weather down there. We are on the cold side right now but it looks like we will be in the low to mid 60's first part of next week.

I'm Originally from up that way, but just a little south from you in PA just across the border. Born there and lived there for 32 years, Real nice country up there. Dont miss the snow and sleet weather, but miss the real hunting, and lots of places to ride horses.

David,
Yes it is nice here, we really like the west coast. It sure is a enviroment though that is hard on horses. And now we have a Tropical Storm maybe coming this way the middle of next week. We could use some more rain though.
