Yes, it means you have a camper special. Do a search, it's been documented endless times.

4x4x429: Are you parting this truck? If so, how come?? Looks too nice.
Well i had been looking for a parts truck to donate to my crew resto for a while and figured sooner or later i would come across an F150 that was in decent shape for a good price. I just happend to come across this SCS and the price was right and in great shape so i jumped on it.

I will be taking the a/c system including the dash, the fenders, passenger side door, hood, super cooling radiator, plastic rear fuel tank and skid plate, emblems, behind seat storage caddy, and Dana 70 rear all for my Crew.

The box, upper and lower trim on the box, bedside spare tire cover, ring, pinion and carrier (4.10 i believe), overhauled C-6, and 460 4v are all available for sale. Possibly the grill shell as well.

I have been trying to find someone that could use the box for a while as i know they are very hard to come by especially in good condition like this one but as you could imagine...it's easier said than done. I saw a box for the 140" wb on Ebay months ago w/o any trim on it and the guy was asking $1000 for it but i would get rid of this box for a fair price. In fact...no reasonable offer will be refused. I'm more into trying to help someone else possibly better their truck than making a dime.

I'm not trying to push a sale here but i just thought i'd throw it out there if anyone might be in need of a box.

I am located in Washington State if anyone is interested.

I initially responded to post #38 .. then I noticed it was typed 12/13/2009.

joebane: D7TZ-9929038-CA Lower Body Side R/T moulding that follows this: D7TZ-9929076-EA Spare Tire Door R/T moulding...

No Ford Dealer or obsolete parts vendor has any.

Hello all new member here. I also have an 75 SCS with a 390 and C6. It's got 71000 original miles. I purchased this beast from the original owner who informed me that 73 thru 75 SCS's were special order only. Anyway I love this truck. It's bulletproof.

That's ridiculous, you could go to any Ford dealer and buy one off the lot!

Do not believe a single word a seller claims! Private sellers lie just like new/used car dealers, lawyers, politicians and TV evangelists.

Do not believe the miles shown on the odometer, as it reads to 99999.9 then returns to ZERO!

And, on sale day 360 engines magically become 390's!
