For those of you in Calgary, I highly recommend Horizon Meats. A nice little butcher shop with lots of interesting exotic stuff, as well as some of the finest jerky I've ever had.

Getting ready to go on a nice long trip with the trailer on Friday of this week. So many little things to get done.

That's a good question. When breeding horses, they keep careful track of the mare and stallion bloodlines. Now I'm curious, did I eat a yakxcow or a cowxyak?

Good morning to all...I'm off for a long bile ride. No wind, cool temps...it's beautiful.

Careful there Tim, too much bile isn`t a good thing......
It`s nice enough here for motorcycle rides which I intend to do this weekend.

Planning to winterize my trailer this weekend and drag it out to my buddies farm for a nice long sleep over the winter.

Anyone watching the Alberta PC party leadership race? The way politics in this province work, that's pretty much how we'll pick our next premier. I voted today.

So far, about a third of the polls have reported results, but it looks like we'll be going to a second round of voting in two weeks. No candidate looks like they'll get more than 50%.
