F5 Marmon Herrington 2 for 1 Sale

Ran across these yesterday on eBay (not my listing) and couldn't get posted til now. It's 1 listing for 2 Bonus Built F5's with Marmon Herrington conversion in Colorado so it's too far for me. They look rough, but if you have a Marmon truck and are looking for running gear parts, or perhaps running gear to convert a truck you have, it might be for you.

Oh, yes, I saw them!! And being in Colorado doesn't really describe it. They're really almost on the Arizona/Utah border. A very long way. And a guy with a normal trailer couldn't haul them both, it'd be a contract haul which would make them no bargain for one of us flatlanders. Oh well. Stu

That's in the Four Corners area, about a 4 hour drive from Albuquerque. Those are probably oil field trucks. There are probably a hundred more up there, it is full of utility and oilfield trucks all around from Broomfield to Farmington to Cortez. Not as dry up there as ABQ, but pretty close. Come on out and do some hunting!

In my search for an MH, I'll probably have to make a trip like that, don't tempt me, lol.

Ya I saw those too! My Stepdad lives right there in Delores too. wish I still had his #. I lost his addresse and number and haven't found it and haven't heard or talked to him in a long while. (could be a good deal for someone local ?)
I lived between Cortez and the Utah line for a little while (too long a while ) actually! but I figured some of those bean farmers up there may also have had a good use of something 4X4 in those fields??

Havi, come on down and well do a road trip down there, meet up with Ross, and see what we can see

Josh

edit: I just looked at the bidding history, Is the same bidder bidding against himself?? hmmm

Probably looking for the reserve, which he seems to have found since it's now been lifted. There's a MH collector in Wyoming that might be the bidder, if I was to speculate. Stu
