I started to replace the heater core in my 1999 F150. I downloaded the instructions for the 1997 Expedition as well as pictures from another site. Have followed instructions but am hung up as I still can't get to the heater core. Need the truck back in operation as it is our transportation. We live out in the country so I need to fix the problem. Thank you for all suggestions and help.

 

Have you tried a Hayne's manual or ALLDATAdiy.com

 

some more details might help - hanging up how or where? what bolts or parts have you taken out? you can also search this forum since there have been several threads on this topic and instructions posted here too. I've done the job and one huge help is to get a pile of index cards and ziploc bags and label each bag in detail where the screws came from, i.e. steering wheel screws, screws behind glove box, etc. good luck!
