Can't help with your problem but welcome to the 6.4 Forum. I just came over from the 7.3 myself about 8 weeks ago. I sure miss my 7.3L but this new truck can "pull it, or pull it in half". Big difference in forums too. Not near as many folks on this one so it takes a while to get feedback or information.

Look on the inside driver door jam for the tire sticker. This tells you what tire sizes and PSI settings are recommended for your vehicle. It actually does a bit more then that in the fact that it's telling you what PSI is displayed is what the computer is programmed to expect.

Now, your tires may have the correct PSI for those tires, but they may not match that of the sticker. In which case, you won't beable to get rid of the Light or Message Center display.

Moved to Super Duty. Those sensors are finicky... mine pops on randomly. Last oil change I just had the dealer clear the code.. been OK so far.

If the dealer rotated the tires, it may be faulting on the position sensor as the 08s are location sensitive but now 10 people are going to tell you they're not. They are.

Mollikate,
If you haven't fixed it by now, I'll give you some insight. May be your issue or it might not. The 08 sensors on the F250's are factory set to a min. of 65PSI. . If you're running new tires that aren't max rated for that kind of pressure it'll be up to you to decide whether to deal with the light or overpressurize the tires. I just deal with the light being on. Hope this helps.

Tpms

I thought the TPMS didn't apply to HD and SD's? I have a 07 XLT F150 Heavy Half (8200 lb GVW) and AFAIK it doesn't have TPMS while lighter F150's do. I've looked for the dash light with the key to the on position and I haven't seen a light there for TPMS. Tires have been rotated once and no lights have come on.

I'm not sure which models where or are offered with the TPMS. Thoughts from any guru's?
