Fraud @ Air Resources Board?

http://www3.signonsandiego.com/stori...nch/?uniontrib

"Within days, however, a Union-Tribune editorial writer had confirmed allegations that Hien T. Tran – the lead scientist and coordinator of the study used to justify the stringent new diesel regulations – had falsely claimed to have a Ph.D. in statistics from the University of California Davis."

And it seems that nobody even cares.....

CARB is an agency with too much power, and it has, as it always does, corrupted the agency.

Several years ago, I dealt with someone who worked for CARB on an issue unrelated to the CARB mission. Arrogant, condescending, unpleasant, and right about everything. That's the profile for employment there methinks.

Things like this just reinforce my thought that this isn't about clean air at all - it's about 'revenue enhancement'.

I think your right! Corruption all the way up and down the line of local, state or fed government.

This guy said what they needed him to say so they just conveniently ignore the facts and his lie(s).

I am for being responsible with our planet, air and water.

I am against much of the 'Green' movement as revenue enhancement is a primary goal of many involved. Selling carbon credits is an excellent example.

You guys are all right. But look into the dollars and jobs all created by all this unproven environmental stuff. It has always been and will always be about money.
