Chip

Anyone here have a TS chip ? if so how do you like it? I used to have a superchip programmer had it for a few weeks ,didnt like it and got rid of it since then I have been pretty much stock other than playing around with the icp mods.

Reason I am asking is my wife and daughter bought me a TS chip for my birthday and am hoping that it will not be the same thing as the superchip.

Thanks
Walter

The guy I bought my 95 PSD from had a Superchip installed and I drove it for 2 yrs with no problem. My truck started acting up like the CPS was going out. Found out the chip was going bad. Pulled it out and no problems anymore. The only thing I did was put on a 6637 filter. It is stock other than that and runs fine. I don't notice too much of a change in power. Pulls my 7500 travel trailer up hills 50 mph no problem. I guess I don't need anymore power. I am gonna leave it stock(no chip)

I like the power my chip gives me.

Try it out and see, and maybe do a reburn from another company for cheap if you don't like the TS. Like what Oversize said.

That's a real cool present IMO, my family wouldn't even know what a chip is

TS tunes are night and day over superchip. I loved mine when i got it. When I had tony reburn it was aother night and day diffence. The big difference i found was tony gave me more low end and took better control of the trans.
I would run the chip for a while and try no tto break the bank on fuel with all the fun your going to have with eth new found power
