I echo those thoughts and appreciate the help I've gotten on my 49 F-1 here this year also. The Volare is in and I should have the 302 and C6 sitting in the chassis in a couple of weeks and hope to have it running sometime next summer. It's getting pretty cool here in the mornings so I know my days in the garage are numbered now for 2009.

Ditto what Sam said. Not THAT hot here consecutively, but 93 every day for months with extreme humidity and rain. We have another solid month of the same to go...

Mid-September thru November is the sweet spot here, warm enough days, but not too hot, and nice and crisp in the mornings. I've been busy this weekend doing what little yard work I have so I can knock out a couple of automotive projects.

Yeah it's been a hot summer here in SoCal too, not used to 100+ degree weather in September but today it only reached 87 and the nights have finally started to cool down. Got a big show coming up at Lake Havasu in late October so I have to get crackin' on the truck!
