EEEK. I'm going to pick her up at the airport in a few hours.

Mom and the girlyfriend have not met. You can imagine that my girlyfriend is losing her mind. I have pointed out repeatedly that I get to put up with her mother, she can put up with mine for a long weekend.

Apparently, that line of logic is not so helpful to her.

Oh well.

I'm sure that we'll all survive, and I'm looking forward to seeing Mom.

 

well, how did the introduction go? my girlyfriend has gone to the biker bar to sing karoke.

 

So far, so good.

Mom bought us dinner last night, and we stayed up chitty chatting entirely too late, but they seem to like eachother....
