Thanks! My welding isn't perfect, though. Hopefully good enough! Stripped the paint off the old tailgate, and put on some metal infused filler, to seal the seams of the patches. I'll do the rest of the body work on it over the epoxy.

Did the same with the patches in the box floor. Plus, wanted to fill some of the pitting. Yeah, may be getting a little overboard with that, but, it looks sooooo much better!

Shot over everything with epoxy. This will probably be the last of the metal work for the year, since the weather is getting too cool. I wanted to get the doors done, but, that's going to have to wait for spring.

Looking good Pat. You had a long summer with way to many distractions. I know I was hoping to see the complete body back on the frame before you put it away this time.

Oh, should we call you 67nancyford now?

Geez, tough crowd....LOL

Yeah, I should be way ahead of where I'm at. I'm still going to try and get the brake lines on, and get the brakes put together. I've got a few more odds and ends to do before she goes into hibernation for the winter.

You have a lot of time, Pat, before the snow blows! Stop being so lazy! You have lots you can do besides painting.

Brought the rest of the truck home yesterday, and set the box on. A few small issues. First, the rear of the frame is about an 1/8th inch too narrow, from moving the cross members. So, I'll build spacer to put in between the frame and cross member. Another one, and this one is a "Duh!" moment for me, when I boxed in the frame, I forget that I have to be able to get a the nuts for the box bolts! So, I'll cut out access on both sides. Or, maybe just drill a hole in the bottom, to get a nut and socket up in there. Either way, spaced that one!!LOL

That sucks but at least they are both easy fixes.

Had a good idea, from one of the guys in the bumpside forum, to cut an oval shaped hole, so I can get a ratchet on it, and have enough room to move it back and forth. That will be the plan!

I think you are like me, a little OCD; however we both know if we don't "go overboard" we will regret not doing so after seeing the finished product every day.
