I'll figure something out. Don't have to take off much to get them to match up.

Finally able to get the bottom of the box done! After taping it off, shot two coats of epoxy primer.

Also, I ordered a new tailgate post from LMC. It’s actually the right gauge of metal, surprisingly. So, shot it in epoxy also.

Nice to see that you got that part of the bed done and keep up the good work.

Time to get this tailgate back together. I’m using the handle to help center the upper peice on. Screwed the back side on, then flipped it over. Using several different clamps, started from the center, and spot welded out. As you can see, it has a pretty good arch in the center, so it was a pain to get just right.

Welded the front, then did the rosette welds on the side, and the back. Now, just have to clean up the welds, and see how it looks. Going to order the new hardware today, so I can mount it back on the bed.

Thanks! Spent some time yesterday cleaning up the welds. Just have to strip the old paint, and then shoot it in epoxy.
