Tire Wear Symptom

Tire Wear Symptom
I'm having trouble with excessive tire wear on my 98 EB Expy 4x2. The wear is on the inside of every tire (more noticable on the front two). The wear is a 'wave' pattern, for lack of a better term. If you run your hand around the tire, you can feel the up and down wear of the tread, but only on the very inside of every tire. My first though is a suspension problem. It would seem that I'm riding lower than normal, causing the wear on the inside of the tires. I'm planning on replacing the shocks asap. Has anyone else had this problem and what was necessary to correct it. Thanks for any help or suggestions.

Tire Wear Symptom
Have your front end alignment checked at an authorized shop. the shocks have nothing to do with ride height, they just absorb road imperfections. If your tires are wearing in the rear, you have serious problems. It has a solid rear axle that stays at the same angle all the time. What I mean is, the tires dont change angle independantly from each other.....// or || or\\ never/\ or/| or\|. The only way that this would be possible is if the rear axle is severely bent, due to accident or misuse. It sounds more like the front tires were wearing and they got rotated to the rear. Have your front end alignment checked! This should solve your problem.
