Here is another positive review. Although they didn't really care for the tranny.
Jalopnik review
Do we know how many they are making? I have seen a variety of numbers. I know there is already 1500 orders for the 5.4 from the Dearborn plant which is the max they can manage right now.

Here's the Trucktrend review. http://www.trucktrend.com/roadtests/...ive/index.html
Hopefully Jeremy Clarkson will review it on Season 14 of Top Gear. Not just review it, but thrash it - Top Gear style.

I'm impressed with the write up, Kudos to Ford! Recognizing that the truck was basically built for the Baja, I wonder how well she would perform in New England in the winter. I also wonder how well she'd hold up against the winter snow and salt conditions.
$3000.00 for the 6.2L is quite steep. I wonder as well if that will be the intended upcharge for the 6.2L in the normal version of the F-150.
Great job FORD! I've once again this model year been WOW'd.

Looks like a future pavement princess to me.
Anyone really serious about off roading and is planning to buy a SVT F150 Raptor Rocks isn't going to be interested in increasing the vehicle weight, or the wheel base for passenger room, IMO.

I know if I somehow get one it will be a pavement princess for me. I live in Houston but might have to find a stretch of sand somewhere to play once in a while. I am just waiting for the warranty complaints when the consumers take this truck out and work it over like the ads.
Also wonder what kind of resale these trucks will have in a few years.

Here's the deal.
The truck's built to take it. How are they going to deny a warranty claim? Would they deny you a claim even? I flogged my truck offroad and believe me, it takes some getting used to. You'll blast through a corner where you're sure that you'd flip it if you were in any other truck. Hit bumps that would dismantle any other truck.
Oh yeah, another feature... a 30" fording depth. Been there now, it's true!
Yeeeehaaawwwww!!!! I love my truck, really love it. The motor's great, the tranny's great, the suspension's unreal, the tech's perfect, the sound system rocks, the interior is perfect. My only two complaints: I'd like a telescoping steering wheel for my beat up shoulder and for the super cab back doors to open all the way.
It's an amazing truck!
