35" Mud Grapplers for Stock '09?
I have a chance to pick up a set of like new 35x12.50R18 Nitto Mud Grapplers.
They were on one of those trucks you see at a dealer that are already decked out with blingin' rims, big tires, winch bumper, etc. The gentleman who purchased said vehicle wants to switch to an all-terrain tire and said he'd sell me the Mud Grapplers. He just wants to sell the tires. The tires look brand new, and still have the little nipples on the edges, near the tread. Probably less than 2000 miles on them.
1) The guy is asking $1000. Is this a good deal?
2) I'm concerned they will not fit on my '09 F250 4x4 with factory 18" rims. Will they fit stock heigth on stock rims?
Current tire size is 275/70/R18.
It looks like it would be close...

I've checked RimzOne (huge wheel/tire retailer) for reference, and with mounting, balancing, tax, they would be right at 1200 installed. so, if you figure in mounting and balancing, i'd say you'd save 150 bucks or so. just depends if it's worth your time. they should fit, assuming it's a 18x8" rim. i know of plenty of guys running 35's on stock suspension, especially with the 5.4 not being as heavy as the PSD like all the other guys i know with them.
