He killed it!

We've got a '09 Platinum at the shop. The driver managed to rip the Right front wheel off of it. Add in the structural and sheet metal damage to the hood and fender it estimated out at $27,000.00 damage. USAA insurance totaled it. With it sitting on jack stands you would not know it is hurt when you look at it from the left side or the rear.I'll get some pics tomorrow.

It's headed for the block. I expect the auction tow truck will be here the first of the week.

Just hearing that makes me sick. I stopped at dealership today and they have a black platinum there... It looks amazing.

I haven't found out what he hit. There was sand in the suspension probably from the coastal highway.

Looks like he hit a short steel pole or concrete block at a high rate of speed. I bet either way whatever he hit didn't budge and it was one heck of a stop.
