My brother in-law has a 1990 Ford Ranger XLT 2.9l v6 automatic the other day his brother was driving it and it just cut off. He said it didnt stumble or anything it just cut off and will not start. He thinks it's the timing belt butt i'm not sure. What do y'all think it could be. The check engine light is on and he is going to try and get the codes in the next day or two.
