I lifted my Ex

I finally lifted my Excursion. It's a BDS 8" all spring kit with 37" Nitto Mud Grappler.
Here's some pics. Let me know what you think.

I love it. Did you do the install yourself? If so, how difficult was it? Nice job.

I helped with the install....start to finish. My buddy Tom is the man and he has his own shop.
It took about 6hrs. We ran into a prob with the trac bar mounting bolts/nuts. he didn't like the supplied hardware and wanted to upgrade it to grade 8 ,9/16 bolts.
So I had to do a mad rush looking for hardware.
Otherwise it was straight forward.

With an 8" lift, did you have to do any modifications to the drive-line? Notice any shakes and shimmies that weren't there before the life?

I like the lights, looks sweet!

I do have alittle vibe comming from the driveshaft. I only feel it around 50mph. I think I'm gonna order a new driveshaft for the new length.
Any suggestions where I should shop?

Nice job on the lift...love the all black color. Did you have to lengthen the front drive shaft?

On the headlights, are those the ones purchased on Ebay? How do they work @ night as far as focusing the lights compared to stock?

Thanks guys!
The truck is on the lift. We used a hyd. jack to keep the rears up so we could move them around when installing the new leaf springs.

The headlights are the ones on Ebay. The whole sight adjustment is out the window w/ these. I had to fab up some brackets. Overall I'm pretty happy with them.
