Hi Guys, I took the 53 out to a show on the weekend and there was this beautiful 51 stock truck that took out top honors for the show. I am telling you it was immaculate. Nothing was out of place with this truck, it deserved its trophy.

This flatbed looks like it has full length running boards and some sort of inner splash fenders on the back wheels.

I picked up a script Ford short wheelbase flatbed that has these splash guards. Mine does not have any bolt holes in them for running boards and the truck (51/52) they came off of had the short steps.

I'm curious whether or not this is a stock truck.

Hey Paul, I was thumbing thru the May edition of CCT this afternoon while supposed to be working and noticed a letter from "Paul in Western Australia" regarding putting an LS1 in a 55 F-100. I know your powder blue truck is a 53. Was that you? Building a double nickle?

Sorry to disappoint you Jim, Western Australia is on the other side of the country. I am not building another F100, I would like to, but there is no space in the garage for two effies. I guess you can put any motor in the F100's with a bit of tinkering.

No dissapointment, mate. So you're saying you're not the only Paul in Australia?
