Cool New Edelbrock carb....major issues

Just put a new Edelbrock 600cfm carb on the 460 this evening and am having major issues.
  1. It won't start
  2. Fuel is POURING out of my headers
I believe #1 has something to do with #2. Is the float stuck on a new carb? I've taken it off and turned it upside down and back rightside up. I can hear the float moving around. Also, when I took it off and turned it upside down no fuel came out of it at all. Weird.

Anybody got a clue? I need this thing on the road ASAP as I'm about to move.

Flooded, carb is pouring raw fuel into the engine. Probably a stuck float.

Just because you hear the float moving doesn't necessarily mean the needle is functioning properly. You have to take it apart and check the needle/seat assembly.
