Ring, Pinion & Case '55 F100

hello,

i'm going to order used Ring and Pinion with Case cause ours is broken. What do i have to know? I would like to get a longer Gear Ratio (at this time 3,91).
But do we have different Diameters of Ring? Itīs a Dana Spicer i think stock.

Thanks

ingo

Question R 7 & p...

Can you post a picture in your gallery? Is there a tag or any markings on the housing???

THIS is what MY original rear end looked like on my '56 F100...

The OEM axle "should" be a Spicer/Dana 44...

There should be more help along shortly...hang-on a minute...

Does it look like this???

The pervious owner painted the cover "Ford Blue"...NOT me...

Here is a better picture...

IF I remember correctly...There IS "something" stamped into either the
center section or axle tube on the drivers side...
