water in my gas tank

water in my gas tank
Someone siphoned some of my gas out during the night and kindly left the gas tank cap off. It was raining and water got into my gas tank and I can't get the truck to start. Unlike every post I have seen, my truck is not diesel, it is gas and it is also a dump truck. I was hoping for some help. I do not have the owners manual and cannot find any way to get the water out. Siphoning will not work because I will not be able to siphon all of the gas and as we know, the water always sits on the bottom. Because it is a dump, I am able to raise the rear of the truck and can see the gas tank, but cannot see any way to fully drain it, or to remove it.
Any help???
Many thanks

A couple of options. To drain, if you disconnect the fuel filter on the frame rail, it will gravity feed out slowly. I have, in other applications, made a jumper for the relay socket to keep the fuel pump running to pump the tank out. You might also try one of the gas driers. I suppose you could also pull the sending unit (big cap on top of the tank) and siphon the gas out of the top.
