Need help identifying towing fuses/relays in box under hood. 2004 F250 PSD.

Hey folks...

I tried this in the towing forum and had zero responses. Perhaps that forum just doesn't get enough traffic. Anyway, here goes:

I have a 2004 F250 PSD with tow package. The previous owner apparently ditched the owner's manual and the PDF version that I have seems to be specific to the gasoline models and doesn't have descriptions / diagrams of the under-hood fuse and relay box for the towing package.

Can someone here either provide me with the relevant info about the fuses and relays in this box? I'm trying to get my truck squared away to pull a car trailer and will be using a 7-pole trailer connection.

The truck has the tow mirrors on it, trans cooler and other stuff, but I think the used car lot robbed the trailer harness connection at the rear of the truck and maybe some of the fuses / relays. I've got a replacement harness coming, but need info on the rest.

Thanks.

Fuses are in the panel inside the cab, the manual will have location and fuse size. Only difference under the hood is your engine and relays. I have the PDF for your engine wiring here if you want me to send it to you, need an email address.

Somebody probably has the other wiring diagram for you. I moved you to Super Duty for the rest of the information or try the this Ford Body Builders page, should have all the information you need. https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas...lectrical.html

Here is the box that I'm talking about under the hood and the fuses/relays within. I take it that this does not have anything to do with the tow package?

Bringing this back to the top. I've learned that #2 and #3 in that photo are the turn signal relays for the trailer connection. I just need to know what the #4,5,6 fuses are for and what ratings should be in them.

Thanks much!

They are called "pass thru" wires. The other end of all 4 of them are near the fuse panel under the dash. They are for installing non-factory items that need wiring going through the firewall.
