Talking added a 3" level kit....

Now that I have done that.. i want to upgrade my tires eventually. i have looked at older posts they didnt have any clear answers. but if I i did go to a bigger tire like a 32 or 33 how much would it dog the performance if i have 3.55 gears and the truck is a 2wd super cab, 4.6 engine.. thanks in advance

33's won't mess you up to bad. Especially if you get a programmer. I have a 4.6 with 3.55's, and 33 inch goodyear wrangler on 20 inch chrome and I didn't really notice that much. I plan on goin up to a 35x12.50 pro comp xtreme all terrain with some 4.56 gears someday probably after these pos goodyears wear out. (they don't even grip in wet grass)

what size are your stockers right now?

most likely 31" tall

a jump to 33" will be noticed...but honestly, IMO it ain't worth throwing money at for new gears. Just get the speedo corrected and enjoy the new looks/ride.

the Wrangler AT/S that comes stock on the 18" rims?

I liked mine. They weren't the best in the world, but did decently...although they did get mighty slippery offroad once the tread got about 1/2 worn due to my nefarious activities

Check out the new Silent Armour, and the new MT/R with Kevlar...wicked

EDIT: or do you have those POS Wrangler RT/S tires?

They are the AT/s size 275/60R20, and they only have 10-15,000 miles on them. I was leaving a football game oneday, and decided to drive through this tiny ditch. Much to my suprise both of my rears started spinning. So I threw it in 4 high, then I was still just spinning. I was so pissed cause a few people were watching, and I looked like a jacka** when I had to back out. I decided that day I had to upgrade. I am either gonna go with procomp's extreme AT/s in a 35x12.5R20 or sell the wheels I have now and get some firestone destination MT/s on some 18's in the same size. I want something much more aggressive and the goodyears mtr's are super expensive.
