i think im going to pull the valve covers tommoro, and see whats going on and torque every thing down.does any body have the torque specs for the goodies under the cover.and what are the chances that the valve covers seals are going to hold up and seal when i go to put it back together..

I mentioned that because on my truck I was getting a loud ticking noise that I was hearing from the cab. I replaced the driver's side donut seal without taking the transmission out and now it is much quieter in the cab but now I'm hearing a ticking noise that sounds like it's coming from the transmission but it's not. It's the other donut seal leaking. It's not leaking as bad but it's leaking and I'm in the process of figuring out if I can get the place I bought it from to assist me in removing the transmission to replace the donut so that I might have all my boost that I'm supposed to have and a nice quiet cab.
I would I could record the noise but I don't have anything that is that sensitive to noise to record all the noises I hear. Might I add they are not in my head, I have quite sensitive hearing and as a child could hear dog whistles. Not so much anymore, but you get the idea.
