Installed my real gauge and noticed the temps are a little higher than I like.
Researching the possibility of installing an aux oil cooler. Has anyone done/heard of doing this ?
Any suggestions on manufacturers and mounting locations ?
truck already has a oil cooler..what temps are you seeing?? you dont want to run oil too cool..it needs to get hot enough to boil out any moisture that may settle in...
unloaded I see 210* regularly.
Loaded pulling a load 240-250*.
I ran an AE log coming home from my last trip. I'll check those numbers.

If your coolant temps are high your oil temps will be high. The oil cooler uses coolant to cool the oil. You may have a coolant temp problem like a sticking thermostat. Hence high coolant temps mean high oil temps.
