need help with my F-700

I bought a 1990 F-700 with a 429 in it. It didn't run when I got it so I am trying to get it started.

When I got it it wouldn't do anything. Changed the ignition module and can at least get it to start now using started fluid or gas down the carb so now I am hunting a fuel problem.

The in tank pumps don't come on. If I run a hot wire to the pump it will work so it leads me to believe there is an electical problem somewhere. Is there a relay and if so where is it? Any idea where to start? Also a few times when I ran the hot wire to the pump somehow it rolled the motor over. Is there somewhere where it is all connected?

Is the fuel pump shut off switch tripped? I don't know a thing about F-700's, but my 86 F-250 and 97 F-350 have the switch behind the passenger side kick panel. Just a thought before you go looking for a real problem...
