updating master cylinder on a budget?

You can use a mustang duel resevoir master. Can't remember the years since I got rid of my 64. Think this article has it.

I took my old master cylinder in to the parts store and asked to see a variety of 60's and 70's master cylinders to compare the bolt spacing and rod length. If my memory is correct I used a dual master cylinder from a 68 galaxie and it was a direct bolt on. Think it cost less than 20 dollars but that was quite a few years ago.

I know this is not for our slicks, however I pulled one identical to this one off of a 71 f100 at a wrecking yard on Saturday. Cost me $27.99 I did'nt even make it home before it was sold. Just wanted to let you guys know if you look hard enough and long enough these are out there for those of us on a budget. It is a CPP
