'49 F1 - MC Outlet Fitting - Line Leak

As some of you may recall from a previous post, my PO had done an "odd" farmerization to the brake lines (see image below). Well I attempted to correct this and put it back together the way its supposed to be. Now I've got a problem...
I removed the T from the center outlet, connected Rears to that hole. Put the front passenger to the right outlet, and front driver to the left. Snugged everything up really good and had the neighbor lightly press the peddle... and fluid escaped past the rear line's fitting, not the threads but past the line and fitting. So I wiggled the tube and sure enough it was a bit loose, the line was threaded down all the way and tight so I just replaced it with a new one from NAPA; tighter fit, but same problem.

Do I need to buy a new outlet fitting? Looks like its $10. Or is there a problem with the brake line I got from Napa?

Original PO setup:

I'd go with the distribution block. It's real easy to screw up, I know. Buy a new one, it's a cheap $10 investment. Get a new sealing ring while you're at it.

dont this figure... i called SacVin as they've had the parts i've needed in stock the last few times I'd called, and ordered the outlet, the bolt thing, new copper gaskets, and switch since it would all be apart, and the 1 piece i really need (the outlet) is the only part they dont have in stock.
Guess i'll just have to spend some time working on the yard, house, or corvette while I wait... this sucks.
