Pitman Arm Identification ...

Pitman Arm Identification ...
I have an interesting Pitman Arm that with some work can be made into a very useful part on steering for an F1. More about that later ..... but what I'm trying to do is figure out just what this originally fit. I'd like to be able to get another one for a later project. So far I have been unsuccessful in getting any info retrieved at all about it. My local NAPA store tried every way they could, but found nothing. I've looked via the GM parts sites, and the Ford sites, and still nothing.
So .... here is the part number that is on the arm: 80 GMT7814221A
One guy at the NAPA store thinks it is a GM truck part, but can't get anything to come up on their computer about the number.
Number Dummy ... if you see this ... any chance you might recognize the number sequence and have some advice on where to look??
Or ... anyone else have an idea of what this originally fit??
Like I said ... I'll explain later about how this will get used. That will get a few folk's interest I think.
Thanks in advance,

I stopped in at a Chevy dealer here today, and found a guy there that was very helpful. Turns out the number on the Pitman Arm I have is not the part number .... but the casting number. This fellow did some fancy footwork on his computer and came up with what he thinks is the right application ... the arm is off of a 76-77 Chevy (car). Who knew!!
Of course the arm in no longer made, so it's off to the wrecking lots now to hopefully find one of the old rascals. Stay tuned .... once I get this sorted out, I'll post the photos and what this arm is so useful for with an F1. It surprised me for sure.

Thanks....
I checked that, and at least I can look for that at the wrecking lots.
I suspect the number is still the casting number ... but will recheck with my guy at the Chev Dealer here.
Might have to look into some of the circle track equipment suppliers too ...
seems there are some remakes of certain pitman arms that have gained favor there.
.... and the hunt goes on....
