Is this the best 2009 FX4 deal???
I went to my local FORD dealership today to look at a 2009 Supercab FX4. The window sticker was around $37K. The salesman took me right to the computer and showed me an invoice price of $34,600 and said I could get $3000 off of that with rebates applied. Sorry, I can't get the extra $1000 rebate through ford credit because of a bankruptcy;thanks to my worker's comp case. Besides, I am using my work comp settlement to pay cash with no trade-in for this truck. Is there any way to get a better deal than $3000 below the invoice price with rebates applied? Thanks in advance for your help.

I was looking in march so the rebates are different but when I purchased my truck I had the x-plan available but I learned that if you tell them you have x-plan then they will not do anything else. I ended up with one dealer who mentioned that to me and said that I never told him. He was able to give bigger dealership incentives, took about 3000 more off from the invoice I think is what it ended up being.
I have seen and heard from many people that you should try to get between 18-22% off. I got mine at 25% off MSRP after rebates, 1000 credit bonus and everything else.
So you might use that info when you go at it, best of luck.
Oh, mine started at 40,200 MSRP and I got it for $30k +TTL

My FX4 was priced just like this, just under $37k. The dealer gave me "A" plan price even though I was not eligible. This was $4.6k off MSRP. I got an additional $4k in Ford rebates and $1k in cash from credit card rebates. Total was just under $10k off sticker.
I had an earlier dealer offer X plan without knowing my eligblity either.
You should be able to do better, something at least below invoice.

Come to think of it, jda does not have a FX4. He has that bad *** blue XLT 4x4, with a single cab, short bed and 5.4. Very sharp truck
