Im having some erratic fuel pressure problems on my 532. I have a race pumps mechanical fuel pump and regulator. At idle it bounces from 5-8 psi. I called race pumps and they said it has to be an "inlet side" problem. I know im getting air in the system somehow. I have checked all of my connections and all are tight, no fuel leaks, is there another way im getting air in the system??
You would think if I still had and air/vacuum leak it would leak fuel also... any ideas???
So if I were to fill the tank completely then technically the fuel pressure would even out since the entire pickup would be submerged....? I only have 3-5 gallons in there right now. I guess this would be a way to check it.....
